Q: What time will you arrive prior to my event?
A: We will arrive approximately 2 hours prior to your event start time to set up your frozen drink machine.
Q: Is there an extra delivery or setup charge?
A: It depends on your location. Delivery and setup, within our service area, is included as part of the quoted rental rate. We will occasionally travel outside of our service area for larger rentals, and an additional delivery fee might be necessary depending on distance. Providing services beyond our local area will be decided on a case by case basis.
Q: Do you provide the alcohol?
A: No. We do not possess a Michigan liquor license. Therefore, it is against state law for us to provide alcohol at events. We will, however, mix your flavors and set up your machines with the alcohol you provide.
Q: Does your machine require ice?
A: No ice is necessary. Our frozen drink machines are commercial grade machines that freeze without ice.
Q: What type of machines do you use?
A: We use Carpigiani and Fabby 2-bowl machines. These machines are some of the best in the business, and will provide years of worry-free use!
Q: Are your machines clean and well maintained?
A: YES!! We clean and sanitize our machines after every rental. Additionally, our machines are checked after every rental for any damaged parts, and maintenance is performed on a regular basis.
Q: How much drink mix do you provide?
A: We provide ten (10) gallons of mix with your order. If you need additional mix, you can purchase the extra mix for only $25 per five (5) gallons.
Q: How many drinks can I get out of 10 gallons?
A: Using 8 ounce cups, you can expect to get about 140-170 drinks.
Q: Do you provide cups and straws?
A: If you prefer, we can supply cups and straws for a nominal fee.
Q: What do we do with the machine after our event?
A: Simply unplug the machine from the wall and drain any extra mix (you can keep it and re-freeze it later). We will clean and sanitize the machine back at our office.
Q: How long does it take for the machine to freeze?
A: Typically, the machine requires 1.5 hours to freeze completely. We recommend that the machine be placed in a cool place away from direct sunlight, otherwise additional freeze time may be necessary.
Q: Can we use an extension cord with the machine?
A: NO! We highly recommend you plug the machine directly into a wall outlet. Extension cords do not allow enough electricity to reach the powerful compressors in the machine and will actually slow your freeze time dramatically.
Q: We will be having children at our event. Can we have one side with alcohol and other side virgin?
A: Absolutely! We are happy to accommodate your needs. We have over 20 flavors that are delicious with or without alcohol.
Q: What type of mix do you use?
A: We purchase our mixes and syrups from one of the largest (and best-tasting) mix manufacturers in Dallas, Texas, 'Margarita On The Run'.
Q: Can I use store bought mix in the machine?
A: We highly recommend that you don't. Our mixes are made specifically for frozen drink machines. Store bought mixes can damage the machines.
Q: Can we move the machine down stairs or in our basement?
A: We recommend that you leave the machine in an area that does not require many steps. The machines weigh over 160 lbs. and are tough to move up and down stairways. If the machine is dropped, it could result in an injury, not to mention hundreds of dollars in repairs. All of our machines are delivered on a rolling cart for easy moving.
