Q: Why don't you publish your Red Carpet Runway prices?
A: We offer package discounts for multiple rental services. The more items you rent from us, the better deal we can give you on each one. Leaving out individual item prices prevents visitors from adding them all up and having the wrong idea of what their discounted bundled package could actually cost. Q: What is the step-by-step procedure to customizing my Red Carpet Runway backdrop?

  • A deposit of $250 is required to begin the design process and also cover the printing costs of the backdrop. We cannot invest our artists' time without a commitment to proceed.

  • Decide if you want one logo graphic or two logo graphics.

  • NOTE: You can have as many of your own customer-submitted logos as you want on your backdrop, but we only custom design 1 to 2 as part of our Red Carpet packages.

  • Contact our Graphics Department via phone or via email here, and explain in as much detail as possible, exactly what you want (this includes fonts, colors, images, etc). Our designers will compose up to 2 to 4 variations of our ideas, then email a proof to you for your review, and to request the changes that you wish (if you submit a design to us, we will assume that it is what you want, and will not provide multiple variations).

  • We will then make your requested changes. Then, we will layout the step and repeat backdrop, and email you another proof for your review and approval.

Please allow two weeks for the design / approval / printing process of any Red Carpet Runway package. Packages include 1.5 hours of design time (including revisions such as fonts, colors, sizes, backdrop layout, etc). Additional design time beyond these 1.5 hours will incur additional charges at $50 per hour. However, client will be advised before these changes will be processed.

Backdrop design is included with all Red Carpet rentals at no extra cost. Therefore, we cannot spend hours upon hours re-designing and re-proofing several variations of a design. If you'd prefer something specific, other than our design, please feel free to submit something to us.

Q: Can I have silver, gold, or other shimmering and glistening metallic printing on my backdrop?
A: Not really. The backdrops are printed on large format four-color printers (using the same color inks that desktop ink jet printers use), and do not use special metallic, neon, or reflective inks of any kind. Of course, artwork can be designed to resemble chrome, gold, silver, and other effects (see here). However, this is accomplished by using graphic techniques such as color gradients, shadows, and highlights... rather than metallic inks or foil stamping. In simpler terms; any colors that can appear on a photographic image can be printed on your backdrop.

Q: How many people can stand in front of the different-sized backdrops? I'm not sure which one I need.
A: Well first, consider that you'll want part of the step and repeat backdrop to be visible in your photographs (or what would be the point?), so be sure to keep this in mind when choosing a backdrop size, and when having your guests pose in front of it. The VIP backdrop is 5 feet wide and can be used with up to 1 or 2 adults. The Superstar backdrop is 8 feet wide and can be used with up to 3 or 5 adults. The Hollywood backdrop is 10 feet wide and can be used with up to 5 or 7 adults.

Q: Is there an extra delivery or setup charge for Red Carpet Runways?
A: No. Delivery and setup, within our service area, is included as part of the quoted rental rate. We will occasionally travel outside of our service area for larger rentals, and an additional delivery fee might be necessary depending on distance. Providing services beyond our local area will be decided on a case by case basis.

Q: Can we have our Red Carpet Runway outdoors?
A: Yes, under fair weather conditions, we can set up outdoors, but only if skies are clear and there is no considerable wind or any chance of rain. A backdrop in wind will behave like a ship's sail and will not remain stable, and can also cause permenent bending to the framing system. Also, wet ground causes wet shoes, which will stain and possibly ruin the carpet. If you are having your red carpet setup outdoors, you will be responsible for any damge to our carpets, backdrop frame, stanchions, and velvet ropes due to inclimate weather or debris.

We will NOT set up our Red Carpet Runways on unpaved ground or dirty pavements. Outdoor areas must be dry, reasonbly clean, and free of debris. Otherwise, an alternative setup location indoors will be required.

Q: Is there a deadline for ordering my Red Carpet Runway backdrop?
A: We need final approval on your backdrop design at least 10 business days prior to your event. This means that the initial design process should begin no later than 3 weeks prior to your event.

Q: Do I get to keep the backdrop after my event is over with?
A: Of course! However, if you'd like to use the backdrop again and again, we recommend not having any event dates, or other information on it that would make the backdrop's message obsolete or dated in the future.

Please Note: If you are unable to take your backdrop with you after your event ends, please arrange with your venue to keep it for you until you are able to pick it up from them later. We leave all backdrops at events, and do not take them with us to store or ship to customers.

Q: Can I just have a custom backdrop made, without renting the red carpet, posts, and ropes?
A: Yes. Just keep in mind that there are several ways to hang a backdrop, and several different frame systems. We would need to know exactly how it is to be displayed so that we can create it with the proper mounting options.

Q: Can I just rent individual items by themselves — for example, only the red carpet, or only the posts and ropes?
A: Sure. Just give us a call and let us know exactly what you need, and we'll hook you right up!

Q: Can I substitute my red carpet with a different colored carpet?
A: Sure. However, while we have some of the more popular carpet colors already in stock, others we do not. Therefore, there may be additional charges incurred to order a particular color.
