Professional graphic design is included with all of our Red Carpet Runways, either from your verbal or written description, or even from a sketch. We never use cheap-looking clip art.

We also accept customer-submitted designs in PSD, TIF, JPG, PNG, EPS, and PDF formats.

We offer package discounts for multiple rental services. The more items you rent from us, the better deal we can give you on each one. Leaving out individual item prices prevents visitors from adding them all up and having the wrong idea of what their discounted bundled package could actually cost. For rates, call us at 734-272-9608, or write us here about what you're interested in, and we'll contact you promptly with a great deal!

  1. First, a deposit between $150 and $250 (depending on backdrop size) is required to begin the design process and also cover the printing and shipping costs of the backdrop. We cannot invest in production costs, without your commitment to proceed.

  2. Next, consider what graphics you'd like on your backdrop

  3. NOTE: You can have as many of your own customer-submitted graphics as you want on your backdrop, but custom design time is limited to one hour as part of the Red Carpet Runway rental rate. You can choose to either select something from our gallery with personalized revisions, submit something to us, or request something completely unique.

    Also, complex backgrounds (which would consume most or all of the included design time) can be purchased by us for an additional $20. Images found on the internet are not high resolution and will not print correctly on a large scale, and also can't be used without permission from the creators and owners.

  4. Next, contact us at 734-272-9608, or email us here, and explain in as much detail as possible, exactly what you want (this includes fonts, colors, images, etc), or submit your own high resolution graphics to us in PSD, TIF, JPG, PNG, EPS, AI, or PDF format. Our designers will compose your backdrop, then email a proof to you for your review.

  5. We will then make any "reasonable" requested revisions. Then, we will email you another proof for your review and approval.

One hour of design time (including revisions such as fonts, colors, sizes, repeat pattern, etc) is included with all Red Carpet Runway packages at no extra cost. Therefore, we cannot spend hours upon hours re-designing and re-proofing multiple variations of your backdrop. If you later decide on a design that is different from your original request, after that original request has already consumed an hour of design time, you must choose to either submit a design to us, or be billed hourly for a total re-design. Additional design time is billed at $12 per fifteen minutes. However, clients are notified before such time is expended or billed.

Please allow two weeks for the design, approval, printing, and shipping process of any Red Carpet Runway backdrop.

Not really. The backdrops are printed on large format four-color printers (using the same color inks that desktop ink jet printers use), and do not use special metallic, neon, or reflective inks of any kind. Of course, artwork can be designed to resemble chrome, gold, silver, and other effects (see here). However, this is accomplished by using graphic techniques such as color gradients, shadows, and highlights... rather than metallic inks or foil stamping.

In simpler terms; any colors that can appear on a photographic image can be printed on your backdrop.

Well first, consider that you'll want part of the step and repeat backdrop to be visible in your photographs (or what would be the point?), so be sure to keep this in mind when choosing a backdrop size, and when having your guests pose in front of it. The VIP backdrop is 6 feet wide and can be used with up to 4 adults. The Superstar backdrop is 8 feet wide and can be used with up to 6 adults. The Hollywood backdrop is 10 feet wide and can be used with up to 8 adults.

Sure, we can make your backdrop 7 feet high instead of 8 feet high, but for the same cost. Otherwise, we can always lower the frame to allow an 8 ft. backdrop's excess to wrap underneath at the bottom where it's not easily visible.

No. Delivery and set-up, within our service area, is included as part of the quoted rental rate. We will occasionally travel outside of our service area for larger rentals, and an additional delivery fee might be necessary depending on distance. Providing services beyond our local area will be decided on a case by case basis.

Yes, under fair weather conditions, we can set up outdoors, but only if skies are clear and there is no considerable wind or any chance of rain. A backdrop in considerable winda will behave like a ship's sail and may not remain stable. Also, wet ground causes wet shoes which can stain and possibly ruin the carpet. Stanchions can rust, and wet velvet ropes can be ruined. Customers are responsible for any damage to carpets, stanchions, velvet ropes, and backdrop stands due to inclement weather or debris.

NOTE: Due to differnet mounting issues, 10'x8' backdrops are indoor only, and there must be enough space to fully unroll it on the floor.

We will not set up our Red Carpet Runways on unpaved ground or dirty pavements. Outdoor areas must be dry, reasonably clean, and free of debris. Otherwise, an alternative set-up location indoors will be required. All carpets are subject to possible cleaning fees if returned severely soiled or stained.

We prefer final approval on your backdrop design at least 10 business days prior to your event. This means that the initial design process should begin no later than 3 weeks prior to your event. However, if you are providing your own artwork, and we are not creating it, the time requirement can be greatly reduced. Backdrops ordered too late may require an additional $100 rush printing and overnight delivery charge.

Of course! However, if you'd like to use the backdrop again and again, we recommend not having any event dates, or other information on it that would make the backdrop's message obsolete or dated in the future.

Note: If you are unable to take your backdrop with you after your event ends, please arrange with your venue to keep it for you until you are able to pick it up from them later. We leave all backdrops at events, and do not take them with us to store or ship to customers.

Yes, you can choose a custom backdrop only. We will also deliver and set up backdrops by themselves at no extra charge, within our local delivery area. You may also choose to pick up your backdrop and mounting stand to set up yourself, but of course, only the stand would need to be returned.

Sure. Just give us a call and let us know exactly what you need, and we'll hook you right up. Carpet, stanchion and rope rentals are available for customer pickup and return. All rented items are due back the following day (excluding Sundays and holidays).

No. However, all our runners are REAL bound carpet, and are not cheap felt runners. Therefore, very light-colored carpets may require indoor rental use only, depending on location of placement and weather conditions. All carpets are subject to possible cleaning fees if returned soiled or stained, depending on the severity of damage.

You may cancel at any time before your event. However, as indicated within our Event Agreement, all deposits are non-refundable. When a client reserves our services, we must turn down other potential clients. Deposits can, however, be re-applied to rescheduled or future events pending availability. All cancellations MUST be made in writing only. Rescheduling for events cancelled due to inclement weather shall be accommodated without penalty whenever possible. Rescheduled events are subject to availability.
